This is a pair of earrings made in unique ornamental arabesque patterns of Persia.
'Gombad' refers to the architectural dome in Persia,
and the intricate ornamental patterns seen in dome structures in Persia is known to be 'Gombadi'.
This earring design composes of two layers of patterns that converge in the central portion of the circular disc.
At the edge of the disc structure, the two layers split and curve.
Within this cleavage, there is a tiny ball-like structure to which the ear hooks hang.
The curved surface of the disc structure enhances the pattern that seems to radiate from the center of the disc.
