this intricate brooch evolved out of a very simple thought of the well-known and well-liked chrysanthemum motif
that has been a popular 'icon' with traditional Japanese kimonos, ceramics and other crafts.
we have personally loved the way the flower motif has been traditionally recreated so vastly in various styles.
and we thought about the possibility of creating something out of the real chrysanthemum as itself without any embellishments or minimising.
the process started off with the modelling of the form on a 3 dimensional software,
recreating the individual petals of the chrysanthemum mathematically on the software yet making it look as close to nature as possible.
a beautiful and intricate item that is great as a gift to that special someone!
we hope you like this brooch as much as we do!
